Rethinking Pooling Operation for Liver and Liver-Tumor Segmentations

چکیده
Deep convolutional neural networks (DCNNs) have been widely used in medical image segmentation due to their excellent feature learning ability. In these DCNNs, the pooling operation is usually for down-sampling, which can gradually reduce resolution and thus expands receptive field of convolution kernel. Although has above advantages, it inevitably causes information loss during down-sampling process. This paper proposes an effective weighted address problem loss. First, we set up a window with learnable parameters, then update parameters training Secondly, use improve full-scale skip connection enhance multi-scale fusion. We evaluated on two public benchmark datasets, LiTS2017 CHAOS. The experimental results show that proposed effectively network performance accuracy liver liver-tumor segmentation.

INTRODUCTION A neuroendocrine tumor has known as a neuroendocrine system tumor. Rarely, neuroendocrines have found in other areas, like the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, kidneys, ovaries or testicles. CASE PRESENTATION We have a 41-year-old woman has referred to our medical center, complaining of fullness and vague pain on her right upper quadrant. The liver scan, sonography, MRI demonstrat...
متن کاملRecurrence of fatty liver disease following liver transplantation for NAFLD-related cirrhosis: Current status and challenges
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is emerging as a major health problem worldwide. NAFLD is a continuum of disease ranging from mild liver steatosis to severe steatohepatitis, which will ultimately lead to end-stage liver disease with high morbidity and mortality rates. This disorder is considered as a silent liver disease. The metabolic syndrome and its components are accounted as the ...
متن کاملAutomatic detection of liver tumor motion by fluoroscopy images
Background: A method to track liver tumor motion signals from fluoroscopic images without any implanted gold fiducial markers was proposed in this study to overcome the adverse effects on precise tumor irradiation caused by respiratory movement. Materials and Methods: The method was based on the following idea: (i) Before treatment, a series of fluoroscopic images corresponding to different bre...
متن کاملClinical analysis of liver transplantation for benign liver tumor
Aim: The study aimed to investigate the indications and results of liver transplantation for benign liver tumor. Methods: From January 2001 to December 2014, 16 patients (8 males and 8 females) with benign liver tumors were subjects of liver transplantation in our department. The surgical procedure, perioperative complications, postoperative management, and follow-up results were analyzed. Resu...

irculating tumor DNA (ctDNA) analysis represents a Cpotential paradigm shift in personalized medicine. Unlike tissue biopsy, it constitutes a minimally invasive approach that allows for diagnostic, predictive, and prognostic marker detection, early and serial assessment of metastatic disease, therapy monitoring, and determination of clonal evolution. Because ctDNA reflects genetic and epigeneti...
